Grant Information

The Clay Education Foundation and the Community First Cares Foundation are continuing the familiar “Grants 4 Great Ideas” program to provide $25,000 in grants to support innovative literacy, STEM, and college and career education projects to benefit students in the 2024-2025 school year. The Clay Education Foundation will have a selection committee that will identify projects with the most potential for student impact. After a project is selected, the Clay Education Foundation and Community First will fund the given teacher’s project FULLY via DonorsChoose.

Through the expanded partnership, teachers are eligible for up to $750 per grant in the areas of literacy, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science), and college and career readiness.  School-wide grants in literacy, STEM, or college and career readiness are available up to $1250. Teachers may apply for up to two grants, while schools are only eligible for one per grant cycle.
